A New Love

Hey, it's been some time I've posted. It wasn't my intention to stay away so long but there have been many reasons for my delay. I'm hoping that you all have had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. It's been kind of blah out this way for the past few weeks actually and I think my mood has been matched by the weather.
Some good things have happened though. My grandson took his first steps all alone on May 22nd ...YAY..!!! They had been on vacation and the little sweetie decided to wait til he got back to grandma's to go off on his own.
I've been taking a few workshops online . One of them is over at Roses On My Table. It is such a wonderful place to find awesome projects and Zinnia is such a fantastic teacher. Her latest workshop is using beeswax and oil pastels on your image. Well, I've got to say, I have found a new love. There is something about the smell of the wax and the texture it gives my pieces that just makes me HAPPY. I can't stop myself from looking for images to use and my ideas just don't fit in my head anymore..lol.

I am also taking a wonderful workshop with Paula Insall "Divine Romance". This is a workshop that helps you to channel God's work through your art. It has been a very positive experience for me so far and I recommend it to all who would love to project your feelings through your art.

I am also doing my morning pages from "The Artist"s Way" and I need a new book. I found this juicy fat book in my stash but didn't really like the cover. What would any of you do ???? Of course, transform it to your personal liking and that is what I did....what do you all think? Still have the back to do but here is it..
